Jade Magno McGovern is a Filipina-American filmmaker and theatre artist born, raised, and based in New York City. She is known for her roles in writing, directing, producing, and lighting design for various forms of media such as narrative short films, music videos, original musicals, and more. Through art, she wants to explore the raw and real to the wacky and weird while consuming and creating feminist and female-centric media. Jade believes magic is real, and it exists within art and love. She feels capturing perspectives of life’s beauty is the greatest privilege.
